December 18, 2011: Roosevelt House Holiday Tours

Tours of the former home of Franklin, Eleanor and Sara Delano Roosevelt. 

In celebration of the holidays, Roosevelt House, the former Roosevelt family home from 1908 to 1941, hosted visitors on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Tours will be given every hour on the hour until 5:00 pm.  Visitors will learn about the daily lives of FDR, Eleanor, and FDR’s mother Sara and the historic events that occurred at the house.  Roosevelt House is now the home of the Public Policy Institute of Hunter College, whose mission is to educate students in public policy and human rights, to support faculty research, and to foster public dialogue about important issues of the day.
